Some Memorable Facebook Statuses...

From the past couple of weeks. Everyone keeps telling me I need to write all this stuff down since the kiddos are so crazy LOL

December 21st:

*Jake just said to me, "You wanna watch me play the Wii? You know, you have two eyes. You can do 2 things at once with them" LOL

*My son informed me, after I asked him why he didn't listen to me in the store, that he didn't have any ears. Furthermore, he hasn't had any since he was a little baby. Hmmm, interesting...

December 22nd:

*has an age old recipe for c logging the toilet. Just add: 1 full roll of toilet paper, a stack of wet hinney wipes, a closed door, and one 3 yr old-VOILA!

December 24th:

*Liv came in my bedroom to tell me something. I told her to spit it out because she couldn't get out what she wanted to say. All the sudden, she gets a funny look on her face and said, "I got spit, Mom!" and went to spit, lol. I said, "NO NO NO! Don't SPIT! I mean, tell me what you wanted to tell me!" lol

December 28th:

*Was at Brett's parents today. It had snowed last night. Liv has an obsession with eating snow. I was talking to Brett's Mom, when I turned to see what Liv was doing. Yep, she was licking snow off Josey's shoe. SOOOOOO gross. I can't even comprehend. I feel like I'm raising a pack of wild monkeys.

December 29th:

*Liv is currently making her baby jaguar pee in the toilet-complete with sound. Life is grand, isn't it?? lol

December 30th:

* Josey was asking Brett at what age she could swear. Jake said he says the bad "F" word, so I said "And what happens to you when you say that Jake?" (thinking he would say hot sauce or something) Jake said, "I say it in my head all the time so you can't hear me hee hee." Nice....

December 31st:

*Loves the fact that Liv calls Jake "Buddy". He just came out of bed. She lit up like a Christmas tree and said, "Buddy! Buddy! I missed you so!"

*Ok...Totally LOL...Jake and Liv were on the couch and all the sudden Jake screams, "OW LIV! Don't BITE!" When I asked Liv why she bit him, she said, "Because I thought I was hungry, that's why!" LOL

Tuesday December 29th-Isn't She Sweet?

I mean, seriously?? Look at that sweet little face?!?!? Hard to believe she causes so much trouble lol

Monday December 28th-There's an ANT in my Fridge!!

I went to open the fridge and almost fell over. Liv put her huge, fake ant in the fridge. When I asked her why, she said it was hot and needed to cool off. Go figure lol

Sunday, December 27th-Snow Angel

Or at least, he TRIES to be an Angel :p He decided the back deck would be the perfect place to make a snow angel. We've had a couple of days of good snow fall. Isn't he so sweet?

Saturday, December 26th-Frozen World

We had some freezing fog, which gave the illusion of snow, without all the messy roads. These were actually taken on Christmas day (shhh! I'm cheating!)

We had a great time on Christmas! The kiddos loved their presents and they were really good. They got to spend some time with their Dad, too, so bonus for everyone =)

Monday December 21st-Jake Does Jillian

Jake decided he wanted to do my 30 Day Shred DVD. It was "easy" in his opinion. I have to give him props. He did the whole video. The funniest thing, though, was the WAY he did it. He thought he was doing the moves right, but he really wasn't. It was so cute to watch, though! Look at those bulging arm muscles he has! :p

Friday-A Gamer Till the End....

I went to check on Jake before I went to bed (I check on both kids before I go, just in case...) and found Jake sleeping, with his Didj still in his hand, and on LOL. I took everything off so he wouldn't strangle himself while he slept, and moved on LOL

Why You Should Never Leave Cupcakes to Cool with Liv Around....

Apparently, she likes to take bites out of each one...(and that's chocolate chips in the bottom-Jake insisted on having chocolate chip muffins lol) I think she only got bites out of the ones she could reach...

Long Time, No Post...

So, it's been a busy 3 weeks! It's been brought to my attention by more than one friend (and I thank you girls, for being so interested in my life =) ) that I've been neglecting my blog. Between trying to get ready for the holidays, traveling to NJ for work last week, coming home to Jake having pneumonia, it's been rough!

I'm a Facebook junkie. I admit it. I adore FB. I'm on FB daily, hourly, and sometimes, by the minute. Consequently, I'm constantly posting about the kids, what they are doing (or not doing) etc. I'm going to post some of my favorite wall posts from the last 3wks. You'll be able to get a little taste of what's gone on in my life for the past 3 wks....

Jake and I were just watching Nanny 911. Jake was watching the Mom, all wide eyed and finally said, "Holy Moly! Looks like the Mom needs the Nanny more than the kids!"

Jake told me this am that he wasn't going to go to school today because he was still sick and he "wasn't going to argue with me about it!" I said, "Well, I'm glad we're in agreement about no arguing! Now, you can either go to school or stay in bed all day, only leaving to pee or eat." After 10 minutes of laying in bed, doing nothing, Jake decided to go to school. Good decision, Jake.

I love getting pulled over by the cops, but what's even better than that???? Knowing that, while you are being pulled over, your boyfriend and his buddies are watching and laughing.

Got home from Jersey, barely....Our flight from EWR to SLC had issues. The flaps wouldn't go up (which is what slows the plane down) Had to look for "alternative" solutions. We landed great-I was good until I saw 4 fire trucks and an ambulance following our plane as it taxied, "Just in case". Once they realized we weren't going to go up in a blaze of glory, they went back to their firehouse.

I was in my room, organizing alittle for my trip, and was thinking how nice it was that the kids were watching Olivia on TV so nice together...until Liv came out of the room and handed me 4 screws. Apparently she thought it would be a grand idea to unscrew my ab roller while she was in there.

I have a streaker in my house...Liv is refusing clothes, however, she doesn't want to take her socks off?!?!?!

Jake hit his head when he got into bed last night (in the throws of a fit, of course, because he didn't want to go to bed) He started yelling that he needed to go to the drs. When I asked him why, he said, "My head broke!"

woke up and noticed the kids bathroom light on...I walked in, and Liv was sleeping on the floor, both blankies and her binkie. When she woke up, I asked her why she was sleeping here. She said she had to pee and "just couldn't make it back to my bed to sleep" LOL

So, as you can see, I've had a great couple of weeks!!! My kids are crazy, so am I, and I wouldn't have it any other way...

Things Found In Jake's Pants Before Going into the Wash...

Yep...I went to throw Jake's jeans in the wash, and this is what I found...2 army men (if you look closely at the tan one, he's mysteriously missing his head lol) 11 cents, a bowling pin, and a "crystal" (he gets those when he does good at school-he loves them lol) I guess I can understand it all but the bowling pin. That has me curious...

Liv's 3 Year Well Check...

My cheeky Monkey is growing leaps and bounds!! She's currently 35lbs and 41 inches long! She was weighed and measured 4mths ago. She's grown 3lbs and 3 inches in 4 months!!! She's now 90% for her weight, and 97% for her height. If the height predictors are right, she'll be about 5ft 11 by the time she's 18 (not that I'm surprised! lol)

Sunday, November 22nd-Christmas Comes Early at the Bulloss House...

I took the kid's Christmas pics on Sunday so I could take advantage of a Costco coupon I had. I think they turned out great! And, in true Jake and Olivia fashion, we got some good outtakes...

and what color did I use? Hooker red...I already lost my MOTY award back in January, so why not?? lol She was estatic! She couldn't get over how pretty her nails and toes looked.

Wednesday, Nov 11th-The Girl Loves Her Bink & Her Blankie

Seriously, she loves them both. It's actually become worse since I told her once this binkie was gone, no more would come. She advised me that I could just go to the store and get another one. She's seen them in packages, you know. Yep, Senorita Smarty Pants. That's my girl *sigh* I have to admit, as much as I am ready for the binkie to be gone, it's her last baby thing that she does, and when it's gone, it will be bittersweet =(

Friday, October 30th-Slave Labor at it's Finest...

This is actually from a couple of weeks ago...Liv spilled her snack in the living room. I decided it would be a good lesson to have her vaccuum it up. I don't really think she learned anything from it, since she now wants to vaccuum all the time, but oh well lol

Thursday, October 29th-Pumpkin Carving day in the USA!

I should actually say that *I* had pumpkin carving day in the USA. I cut the tops off, the kids cleaned alittle bit of the guts out, then got bored so I had to finish them. I did not get pictures of Liv, who is now being called "Sharpie" by my parents. After I got done doing ALL the pumpkins, I was aggravated enough to say forget carving out faces, they can just draw on theirs. Yeah, big mistake. I had a serious lapse in judgement...I gave Jake AND Liv sharpies to decorate the front of their pumpkins. Jake made some silly face on his-no problems, right? Well, Ms Liv, not to be outdone, decided the chair, the floor, her stomach, a part of the garbage can, and oh yes, some of the pumpkin, needed to be sharpied...You may ask, "WHere was Melanie when this was going on??" She stupidly had her head turned away from the kids. I was resting for a minute since I was tired from all the carving (ok, yeah, I hear you-LAME, FEEBLE EXCUSE, but I'm using it anyway) Maybe it was more than a minute....hmmm....Either way, I screamed when I turned my head an noticed what was going on. Liv, knowing she was going to get in tr ouble, had the forthought to go under the table to do her dirty work. I have no one to blame but myself...

So, I know alot of you haven't had the pleasure of watching Jake play the Wii, but really, it's a sight to be seen. He can't sit still mostly (poor kid gets it from me) These 2 poses are pretty tame. I've seriously seen the kid with his head into the carpet, facing backwards, looking at the TV from between his legs, and controling the Wii game SOMEHOW...I seriously don't get it, but hey! What can I say? He is MY child, so there's plenty of room for alittle weirdness there.
