Tuesday-Sickness in the Sun

Despite her fever, she insisted on going outside to play (in her jammies, of course!) She was trying to be a baseball player. I took her to the drs and was told virus. I had to take Jake back on Wednesday for a lung check (to see if his pneumonia was leaving) and insisted they check her again. Come to find out she had the Flu! Poor kid. She's good on motrin, but look out when she's not (not that I blame her!)

Monday-Liv's New Favorite Spot...

The time out spot...She spends alot of time there some days. And she's smiling to boot! I call her my Cheeky Monkey. She's very "cheeky". Notice her Dora jammies. She calls them her Dora pretties lol

Sunday-Clean Day

No pictures...Just lots of cleaning! I'm trying to get the house ready to put back on the market, so I've been feverishly trying to get things done. I'm trying to take care of the rooms the kids don't really destroy (ie my room and bathroom lol) My goal is to put the house back on the market by Monday! Then I can get back into working out. Damn Easter coconut hershey's kisses will be the death of my thighs *sigh*

Saturday - Sick Day Part 2

My Poor baby...Good thing we took him to the drs on Friday. He spent most of Saturday and Sunday with a fever. When the meds kicked in, he was great, when they wore off, this is what he looked like. Poor little guy.

Went In For An Ear Check...

Went out with WALKING PNEUMONIA! I swear, this kid doesn't get a break! He got a cold from Olivia. He's had pneumonia a couple of times, but this time he didn't show any signs except for the nasty cough, so I ignored it, thinking it was a normal, run of the mill cold. Apparently not. Of course, I feel like a schmuck because normally when his cough is "wet" like it was, I get out the big ol mama neb machine and give him some treatments. This time, I didn't *sigh* I now know better. I'm usually so proactive with his coughing, but alas, I got sidetracked this week. Live and learn, right? Get well soon, baby!

Ms Fashionista

We were getting ready to take Jake to school this am, and I asked Liv to go get some socks. She came out with these. Who am I to argue? She calls these her "Meow Meow Kitty" socks LOL Don't you love how they blend so well with her paisley print pants? I figure there are things in life not even worth fighting over. Socks are one of those things =) Besides, it shows her individuality-Gotta love that!!

Wednesday-Spring Is In The Air...

Everywhere I look around...Spring is in the air...in every sight and every sound...and I don't know if I'm being foolish, and I don't know if I'm being wise, but it's something I must believe in, and it's there when I open my eyes...

HA! Name that tune, People!!! Of course, some of the words have been changed to suit my needs, but only a few!
The tulips are coming, the tulips are coming! Let's hope the cold is going away. I'm sooooo ready for Spring! BRING IT ON BABY!
